Evaluation Service

Our Evaluation Service is available to registered participants of a UK NEQAS CPT EQA / Proficiency Testing Scheme.

The Evaluation Service offers participants the opportunity to submit material to UK NEQAS CPT outside of the standard Scheme Schedule. This is especially helpful for participants who are:

• Validating a new staining procedure
• Reviewing changes in protocols due to previous low scores in their EQA Scheme or inhouse issues with staining
• Performing stains not covered by the UK NEQAS CPT staining repertoire.

As part of a participants annual subscription, 6 submissions may be submitted free of charge. After this, a charge is made for each batch of up to 6 submissions.  Submitted material  will be scored by our expert assessors against our peer approved range of scoring criteria. The participant will then receive a written report and feedback sheet which can be used towards the in-house validation and verification under ISO accreditation.

Participants wishing to submit material to the evaluation service must complete the required documentation.

Whilst UK NEQAS CPT is a UKAS accredited proficiency testing provider No. 8268, the Evaluation Service is not covered by this accreditation and the results from any evaluations carried out by UK NEQAS CPT can only be used towards your own in-house validation or verification for ISO accreditation purposes.
