UK NEQAS CPT are the global leader in Cellular Pathology Quality Assurance Service Provision. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational day to day and long-term management and development of the Service, whilst acting as deputy to the Scheme Director to ensure efficient and professional service delivery.


Required Skills

  • Strong planning, leading, coordination, budgeting, and monitoring to develop and deliver the service and the team members
  • Excellent scheduling, time management, forecasting and proactive planning to support the provision of worldwide quality EQA proficiency testing and educational programme delivery
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills to relay complex issues and ideas to teams and individuals
  • Extensive experience in specialised diagnostic cellular pathology techniques essential - must hold Health Professions Council (HCPC) Registration and studied to a Higher Specialist level, or equivalent experience
  • Previous involvement with audit, EQA, IQC and quality management to ISO standards would be preferred
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work successfully and efficiently in diverse environments
  • Experience in multilateral organisations will be an asset


Key Deliverables

  • Detailed quarterly operational and strategic plan, implementing new and more efficient ways of working to meet service needs
  • Develop training and education supporting documentation for participants and employees
  • Coordinate, support, manage and provide visible leadership, working within the demands of the central and remote teams and service users
  • Regular project budgeting reports and project closure reports
  • Establish teams to carry recurring activities beyond project life
  • Marketing plan, including advertisements and promotion of new projects and service
  • Detailed educational planning and event management and coordination
  • Support, build and maintain accreditation status, with participants and other bodies


Salary and Benefits

  • Full time, permanent contract (37.5 hours /week)
